Another Lazy day in 'Shang My'

Sawasdee Ka! This will be a short blog as we had a really lazy day today, we thought we would hang out here and take it easy since we have such a big day tomorrow for our trip to Chiang Rai and Myanmar border for our visa run. 7am - 7pm, all day tour.

We stayed in bed a bit longer this morning as it had rained all night and was still raining when we woke up. There is not much point in rushing out too early since there is no one around and with the rain as well.

We decided to do brunch at Subway, big mistake, no english and a bit too overpriced for what you get. We then went for a walk to find a massage place to have a foot massage and the place was busy and they asked us to come back later, we didn't so we had a long walk instead and the rain started again so headed back to the hotel where we spent the arvo, Rick watching tele and me doing the washing by hand, again!

We had a good heavy rain again late this arvo and it always seems to rain heavy just when the people are setting up their stalls out on the footpath and they are madly trying to cover everything so the goods they hope to sell don't get wet.

We ventured out early for dinner as we want to get an early night as we will need to be up at 5.30am to get ready for our day tour as the bus picks us up at 7am here at the hotel. We are really looking forward to it even though it will be a long day, but hey we get to go to another country for an hour. Anyway better end this post and head off. Until Tomorrow! Stay tuned!
