Day 2 at Cliff View

Sunday - 25 May 08

Sawasdee Ka to one and all. Here we are enjoying our second day at our new place of residence and enjoying every minute of it. Talk about lapping it up, how good is this place. We are happy just hanging out here as we have everything and don't need to leave the resort.

Rick was awake early this morning and he would have to be the noisiest shit. I could have slept all morning but no not Rick. We went to the restaurant for our first free breakfast and then went for a walk down to the private beach area and its so quiet here as there aren't many people around, you virtually feel like you have the whole place to yourself.

The rest of the morning we spent in the pool, its still very warm here and we don't want to hang out in our room all the time so we decided beached whales or not we are swimming to cool down and so thats where we stayed for hours, anyways it gave the housekeepers time to go in our clean our room.

We came back from the pool and straight into the Jacuzzi, I laid in there until I just about shrivelled up. Then Rick threw some clothes in to the Jacuzzi and did the washing. Yo! I spent what was left of the arvo curled up on the bed having a Nanny snooze and Rick just farted around watching a movie. It has just been one of the most relaxing days.

We sat on the balcony just as the sun was going down and everynight at the same time all the longboats anchor just in front of the resort to do their nights fishing and when the sun has gone down completely all you can see are the bright green and red lights of the boat. Rick and I counted 15 plus 1 trawler I guess that will be tomorrows seafood in the restaurants.

Tonight we had dinner again at the resort restaurant and the meals are quite reasonable except they add on a 10% Gst and then 7% vat so it ends up being quite expensive even for a light meal. So we have decided the restaurant is out. Its cheaper to have room service.

Anyway everyone that was our day, now we feel we really are on holidays and its much more relaxing when you stay for a while in the one place as opposed to every couple of days picking up stakes and moving on and always on the go from destination to destination.

Hope everyone at home is well. Until tomorrow, See Ya!
